We have started as
a very small internet group called "Dublin Indians" (Indian
Software Association, Ireland) in the year 2000 and was able to grow
very fast which now consists majority of Indian software professionals
in Ireland. Even though the Dublin Indians group is informal in
nature, it is contributing a lot to the Indian community in Ireland.
The members of this active group are still providing advice as well as
help to the people especially to the new comers.
If
an informal group can make a difference in the Indian community, why
we shouldn't think about a formal group for the young Indian
community? We a group of young doctors, engineers, nurses,
professional students and other professionals identified the
need for a formal professional group, which eventually paved the
stones to form Irish Indians (Association of Indian Professionals in
Ireland) in the first quarter of the year 2003.
Irish Indians is a non-profitable organisation based in Dublin
consisting of the Indians in Republic
of Ireland, intending to bring the young population under a single
umbrella.
Entry to this association is strictly through membership. This
association is being registered according to the current Irish Laws.
